Run-time system based on LinSERCANS and Soft-PLC

摘要: Soft-PLC with open architecture is the direction of development in industrial automation. This paper discusses the method of communication between the interface functions of LinSERCANS under RTLinux and the external library of Soft-PLC under Windows. Based on the API HOOK theory, the communication between the interface functions of LinSERCANS and the external libraries of Soft-PLC is set up and it solves the calling functions of dynamic link libraries in different operation systems. It is able to combine LinSERCANS with the Soft-PLC, and a run-time system is developed based on the interface technology of the serial real-time communication system (SERCOS) and technology of soft-PLC. This run-time system has been used in all electronic injection molding machines and works very well.

信息物理融合系统运行支撑平台研究综述 Review

摘要: 信息物理融合系统(cyber physical systems, CPSs)的计算、通信与物理过程紧密耦合且持续交互的独有特性使CPS设计与实现的复杂程度明显增加。基于CPS运行支撑平台构造CPS应用任务是应对这一挑战的一种有效手段。为了更好地深化相关研究,论文分析和评价了现有CPS运行支撑平台。首先从体系结构角度给出了一种CPS运行支撑平台的分类方法;同时结合具体实例深入论述了每一类CPS运行支撑平台的设计思想、关键技术问题及其解决方法;在此基础上,从CPS应用任务构造、非功能属性支持等方面比较了现有CPS运行支撑平台;最后指出了在后续研究中需要进一步关注的关键问题。

Distributed flexible reconfigurable condition monitoring and diagnosis technology

摘要: As manufacturing becomes increasingly decentralized, flexible and reconfigurable, more research needs to be done on monitoring and diagnosis technology that accommodate these new trends. The distributed condition monitoring and diagnosis technology based on the flexible and reconfigurable concept is studied here. A condition monitoring diagnosis model based on the distributed flexible and reconfigurable idea is proposed in this paper. The component makeup and functions of this model are discussed in detail. The model can fulfill in most instances the manufacturing system requirements for changing the configuration of the monitoring diagnosis system according to different manufacturing system configurations. This model also realizes the flexibility and reconfigurability of the monitoring diagnosis system in some degree. The model has already spawned a successful prototype for monitoring a chemical plant in accomplishing monitoring and control of the production process and equipment. Finally, some future research work is pointed out.

Impact of FACTS devices on exercising market power in deregulated electricity market

摘要: In power system studies, congestion in transmission lines and utilization of flexible alternating current transmission system (FACTS) devices are closely associated. These devices are very important due to their role in power delivery system enhancement. It is to be noted that the generation companies can exercise their market power which depends on the line flows, line constraints, generators’ location and its share to the individual loads. This issue cannot be overlooked as it creates monopoliness which is against the deregulated market policy. The objective of this paper is to study the impact of market power when FACTS devices like thyristor controlled switching capacitor (TCSC) and thyristor controlled phase angle regulator (TCPAR) are used under steady state operation. The market power is determined using nodal must-run share (NMRS) index for the standard IEEE 14-bus system with and without the above FACTS devices and the results obtained are compared. All the above simulations are conducted in a MATLAB 7.9-R2009b environment.

Development of a BIM-based holonic system for real-time monitoring of building operational efficiency

摘要: In the wide context of facility management, several processes, such as operations, maintenance, retrofitting, and renovations, ensure that buildings comply with the principles of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and indoor comfort. Apart from ordinary operation, facility management is responsible for the renovation of and long-term performance improvement of building facilities. In such a scenario, the cyber–physical system (CPS) paradigm with holonic architecture, which is the focus of this study, can successfully guide the operation management and long-term refurbishment processes of buildings. Analogous to the manufacturing field, the developed CPS maximizes holons’ self-configuration and self-organization and overall throughput effectiveness metrics to detect the best corrective actions toward system improvements. Consequently, suggestions and lessons learned from the evaluation of building efficiency are redirected to the building information model. Hence, the digital model acts as a repository of currently available equipment for operations management and the history of diagnoses that support decision-making during the maintenance, retrofitting, and renovation processes. Evidently, the repeated detection of a specific issue, which is unaffected by operations management, should be considered an opportunity to act and enhance the performances of existing building components. Similar to a goods-producing industry, the building management system developed in this study applies the aforementioned methodology to provide services related to indoor comfort and building health. This approach indicates that a method for automatic real-time diagnosis is tested in a case study consisting of a multi-use and large public building. The current paper, which is an extended version of the one presented in the Creative Construction Conference 2018, deepens the decision support tool and the supervision policy. Moreover, the developed system is contextualized by providing an example of use case and highlighting the step forward in the field of smart buildings.

General expression for linear and nonlinear time series models

摘要: The typical time series models such as ARMA, AR, and MA are founded on the normality and stationarity of a system and expressed by a linear difference equation; therefore, they are strictly limited to the linear system. However, some nonlinear factors are within the practical system; thus, it is difficult to fit the model for real systems with the above models. This paper proposes a general expression for linear and nonlinear auto-regressive time series models (GNAR). With the gradient optimization method and modified AIC information criteria integrated with the prediction error, the parameter estimation and order determination are achieved. The model simulation and experiments show that the GNAR model can accurately approximate to the dynamic characteristics of the most nonlinear models applied in academics and engineering. The modeling and prediction accuracy of the GNAR model is superior to the classical time series models. The proposed GNAR model is flexible and effective.

Study on the crystal morphology and melting behavior of isothermally crystallized composites of short carbon fiber and poly(trimethylene terephthalate)

摘要: The spherulites of the short carbon fiber(SCF)/poly (trimethylene terephthalate) (PTT) composites formed in limited space at designed temperatures, and their melting behaviors were studied by the polarized optical microscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. The results suggest that SCF content, isothermal crystallization temperatures, and the film thicknesses influence the crystal morphology of the composites. The dimension of the spherulites is decreased with increasing SCF content, but whether banded or nonbanded spherulites will form in the composites is not dependent on SCF content. However, the crystal morphology of the composites depends strongly on the temperature. When the isothermal crystallization temperatures increase from 180°C to 230°C, the crystal morphology of SCF/PTT composites continuously changes in the following order: nonbanded → banded → nonbanded spherulites. Discontinuous circle lines form in the film when the film thickness increases from 30 to 60 μm. Basing on the SEM observation, it is found that these circle lines are cracks formed due to the constriction difference of the different parts of the spherulites. These cracks are formed when the film is cooled from the isothermal crystallization temperature to the room temperature at a slow cooling rate; while they will disappear gradually at different temperatures in the heating process. The crack will appear/disappear first around the center of the spherulite when the film was cooled/heated. The nontwisted or slightly twisted lamellas will reorganize to form highly twisted lamellas inducing apparent banded texture of the spherulites.

Gained switching-based fuzzy sliding mode control for a discrete-time underactuated robotic system with

摘要: This study proposes a gained switching-based discrete-time sliding mode control method to address the chattering issue in disturbed discrete-time systems, which suffer from various unknown uncertainties. Through the new structure of the designed reaching law, the proposed method can effectively increase the convergence speed while guaranteeing chattering-free control. The performance of controlling underactuated robotic systems can be further improved by the adoption of fuzzy logic to perform adaptive online hyper-parameter tuning. In addition, an underactuated robotic system with uncertainties is studied to validate the effectiveness of the proposed reaching law. Results reveal the dynamic performance and robustness of the proposed reaching law in the studied system and prove the proposed method’s superiority over other state-of-the-art methods.

交通流诱导系统实时方法研究

交通流的实时诱导系统多为建立在单位时间的信息重构,一旦在周期时间内事故发生,则造成行驶车辆正常诱导无法进行。通过对实际交通状况的分析,提出一个新的并且简单可行的解决方案。方案在原有系统中增加了对实时事件突发诱导系统的修正,减少系统应变时间。此方案是建立在现有的诱导基础之上的改进技术,可以在交通流诱导系统中大范围推广应用。

Real-time simulation platform for photovoltaic system with a boost converter using MPPT algorithm in

摘要: Recently, real-time simulation of renewable energy sources are indispensible for evaluating the performance of the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controller, especially in the photovoltaic (PV) system in order to reduce cost in the testing phase. Nowadays, real time PV simulators are obtained by using analog and/or digital components. In this paper, a real-time simulation of a PV system with a boost converter was proposed using only the digital signal processor (DSP) processor with two DC voltage sources to emulate the temperature and irradiation in the PV system. A MATLAB/Simulink environment was used to develop the real-time PV system with a boost converter into a C-program and build it into a DSP controller TMS320F28335. Besides, the performance of the real-time DSP-based PV was tested in different temperature and irradiation conditions to observe the P-V and V-I characteristics. Further, the performance of the PV with a boost converter was tested at different temperatures and irradiations using MPPT algorithms. This scheme was tested through simulation and the results were validated with that of standard conditions given in the PV data sheets. Implementation of this project helped to attract more researchers to study renewable energy applications without real sources. This might facilitate the study of PV systems in a real-time scenario and the evaluation of what should be expected for PV modules available in the market.

Development of real-time onion disease monitoring system using image acquisition

In this study, real-time disease monitoring was conducted on onion which is the most representative crop in Republic of Korea, using an image acquisition system newly developed for the mobile measurement of phenotype. The purpose of this study was to improve the accuracy of prediction of disease and state variables by processing images acquired from monitoring. The image acquisition system was consisted of two parts, a motorized driving system and a PTZ (pan, tilt and zoom) camera to take images of the plants. The acquired images were processed as follows. Noise was removed through an image filter and RGB (red, green and blue) colors were converted to HSV (hue, saturation and value), which enabled thresholding of areas with different colors and properties for image binarization by comparing the color of onion leaf with ambient areas. Four objects with the most significant browning in the onion leaf to the naked eye were selected as the samples for data acquired. The thresholding method with image processing was found to be superior to the naked eye in identifying accurate disease areas. In addition, it was found that the incidence of disease was different in each disease area ratio. As a result, the use of image acquisition system in image processing analysis will enable more prompt detection of any changes in the onion and monitoring of disease outbreaks during the crop lifecycle.

Multi-time scale dynamics in power electronics-dominated power systems

Electric power infrastructure has recently undergone a comprehensive transformation from electromagnetics to semiconductors. Such a development is attributed to the rapid growth of power electronic converter applications in the load side to realize energy conservation and on the supply side for renewable generations and power transmissions using high voltage direct current transmission. This transformation has altered the fundamental mechanism of power system dynamics, which demands the establishment of a new theory for power system control and protection. This paper presents thoughts on a theoretical framework for the coming semiconducting power systems.

FULL TIME-SPACE GOVERNANCE STRATEGY AND TECHNOLOGY FOR CROPLAND NON-POINT POLLUTION CONTROL IN CHINA

摘要:

Ensuring food safety while reducing agricultural non-point source pollution is quite challenging, especially in developing and underdeveloped countries. Effective systematic strategies and comprehensive technologies need to be developed for agricultural non-point source pollution control at the watershed scale to improve surface water quality. In this review, a proposal is made for a full time-space governance strategy that prioritizes source management followed by endpoint water pollution control. The 4R chain technology system is specifically reviewed, including source reduction, process retention, nutrient reuse and water restoration. The 4R chain technology system with the full time-space governance strategy was applied at the scale of an administrative village and proved to be a feasible solution for reducing agricultural non-point source pollution in China. In the future, a monitoring system needs to be established to trace N and P transport. Additionally, new smart fertilizer and intelligent equipment need to be developed, and relevant governance standards and supportive policies need to be set to enhance the efficacy of agricultural non-point source pollution control.

Rational Understanding about Renaissance Path of China's Road and Bridge Engineering

摘要: At the turn of this century, China began the largest road and bridge development in the world, which has virtuously interacted with the social and economic development and has elevated the engineering technology to world-class level. Surveying the development of world transportation, and comparing the road and bridge construction efforts of Europe, U.S.A, Japan and China, general experiences of success can be derived as follows: It is greatly beneficial to give priority to transportation for economic development; it takes national strategy and social action to build up a transportation network; demand and innovation are the driving forces to upgrade road and bridge technology; management innovation and quality assurance can greatly improve development caliber. While rationally acknowledging China's transportation infrastructure achievements, we should reflect on issues with Chinese characteristics that have affected quality and efficiency, expose all construction practices that violate scientific law, overall management defects in road and bridge construction and maintenance, and search for new ways to strengthen social management and the creation of a healthy soft environment.

天基信息实时智能服务系统仿真评估研究

天基信息实时智能服务系统(PNTRC)是多星协同、多网互联的下一代天基信息系统,将广泛应用在卫星通信、导航、遥感等领域。本文针对 PNTRC 建模仿真和效能评估展开研究,分析了系统评估仿真的必要性、需求以及发展趋势,进而支撑PNTRC顶层设计和实施方案论证。针对 PNTRC 动态时变、业务多样、异质异构的特性,对场景可扩展的高效分布式仿真、时空动态分析评估方法、系统体系化建模等关键技术展开详细讨论。基于分布式仿真评估系统,以高分辨率对地遥感业务为例,对比和评估了多个低轨通信星座对遥感业务的传输支持能力。研究结果表明,在遥感业务数据传输过程中,覆盖密集的OneWeb 星座卫星具有更小的网络时延、丢包以及更高的容量和稳定性,但单星容量反而不及覆盖密度较小的“虹云”“鸿雁”星座。本文研究为我国PNTRC可行性论证与工程建设提供了方法和技术手段支撑。
